May 17, 2017  - Navisite Sustainability Fair

We did it again!

Thanks to Alex for inviting us to participate in the 2017 NaviSite Sustainability Fair and to Girish for taking up on the challenge and coordinating  the efforts.

We collectively celebrated our proud accomplishment and reaffirmed our commitment to make a positive imprint on Andover Environment! The team did a splendid job of representing board activities with a banner, posters, slide shows and much appreciated hand outs nudging the visitors to be a good steward of the environment or as Selen would like to refer as "Taking care our mother"!

Although Selectman Alexander Vispoli gave us plenty of time to prepare for it, due to our involvement in the town meeting, we had barely a week to prepare all the material together. Team worked hard to meet the deadline. Janet Nicosia, with the help of Diane Krafton,  offered to take care of printing the banner and the posters. That was a tremendous help. The print quality and timely turn around time was precious. Thanks too to Melanie Cutler for creating a well thought-out slide show and to Girish who manage to convert it into a continuous running loop. Visitors appreciated it. Thanks to Selen Aktar and Clair Stocker for manning the booth and helping out with setting it up.

It once again shows that when citizen volunteers work collaboratively with  the town and the private sector and for a collective goodness, the results are gratifying.

Here are a few pictures that ties to capture the event. At the end is the slide show we presented at our table.

Mucho thanks for everyone who helped us. And last but no the least to NaviSite fair coordinator Lisa Santoro for the logistic help as well as color copies of handouts.
